If you are planning to go for a caravan holiday, then there are certain questions that might come in your mind:
- From where to start? (All depends on your choice and preference level)
- How much time is left for planning and packing? (It depends on as to when you are planning to leave)
- What will be the cost? (make it as affordable as possible;e)
- Where will we go?
- How long should we go for? What shall be the duration?
If the trip is for an extended vacation, then additional questions can be related to things like:
- Type of van (a big van is normally used)
- Is the car apt for the purpose? ( if kids are with you, it is a strict No No)
- Right towing equipment
- and hundreds of other questions
Just keep the following minor, yet effective points in mind:
- The first step would be to keep a checklist of all the things that I am going to mention here:
- In order to stop the toilet paper from unraveling, it is advised that one should put an elastic band around the roll. This would make sure that you can use the same roll ( if left) in your next journey as well, and it will not get wasted!
- If the windbreak is not stable and keeps on splitting and often breaks from all the hammering, then it is recommended that you should place some metal bottle beer tops. Make sure that you keep them on the top of the poles. The next step would be to fix them down with a nail.
- Now the next tip is related to the towing accessories, specially the towing mirrors. If you think that they are a little loose and wobbly, then it is advised that you should cross the straps over diagonally at the back. They will be as steady as a mountain now! Enjoy
- As far as the use of caravan airer is concerned, you can put some foam insulation pipe on the airer sides that will help them to rest on the caravan. You may find a need to tape them on.
- Never leave any manual or guide, or anything like that in your caravan while you are not using it. If it will get stolen, then you will surely face a lot of problems.
- Keep a copy of all your credit card numbers with you. But don't act in a foolish way. Never leave them along with your credit cards at all.
- Keep a disposable camera in your car. This is done in case of any mis happenings! In case of any accident, it will allow you take photographs to back up the written description on your claim form.
