The Island of Cabo San Lucas is located at the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula, Mexico. The history says that the island was once devastated by a hurricane in the year 1939 and the fact is that the property was hugely destroyed. But hats off to the courage that is shown by the island it is now served as a retiree's paradise and a favorite port of call for cruise ships to Mexico.
If you really fond of fishing or mat be have any kind of knowledge about it then you must be aware of the fact that a famous "hot spot" for tourist, it is know for its sports fishing. The town is extremely small, but is geared up with high rise hotels, condominiums, night clubs, gift shops and expensive restaurants. Yes, did I say... expensive restaurants? But the food is amazing! Trust me!
Upon arrival ships anchor off Cabo town, you just need to walk for a 10 minutes duration and guess you will find yourself at the center of the town. An open market across from the pier is equipped with all kinds of gift items and various things that are available for purchase. While taking a long walk you will be able to see a lot of small galleries selling local arts and crafts.
As far as the sight seeing is concerned, the options are unlimited! You just need to take your loved ones out there and you will yourself find that there are a lot of attractions in the Cabo include a rocky peninsula called "Lands End" and a arch rock formation known as "El Arco" . And above all, I would like to tell you something about my personal experience that refreshed my thinking about undersea waterfall! It was just out of this world! It cascade over the edge of the canyon floor below it.
As far as the bay is concerned, the feature that is attached to it says that it has been declared a sanctuary for marine life and an underwater park. Another famous attraction is called Pelican Rock that is located at the entrance to the harbor. It is quipped with a variety of tropical fish shoals that makes it a delight for all the divers out there! As I mentioned that the restaurants are a little expensive and that is why dining in Cabo can be expensive. And if you have made your mind that you really want to eat the specialty of this place then my recommendation says that you should definitely try the seafood!
And above all if you have an overly sensitive stomach, then it is advised that you should drink only bottled water and other beverages using no ice while you are ashore.
