A great place to enjoy fun-filled activities... A great place to visit for an amazing Camping experience. That is Yosemite National Park for you. The main point is that the park is open for all visitors... 24 hours a day! Ahhh... Can you imagine? It is one of the oldest national parks of the country. Various meadows, valleys, mountains and lots of lush green forests cuddling the area represent the extreme wildness and abandonment of the park.
The best thing about the park is the waterfall. It has the largest number of waterfalls than any other single place on the planet. Trust me! The whole ambiance is really tempting but one should never try to opt for a swimming experience in the pools, because the current of the water can really knock you out.
The Park is full of alluring mountainous horizons and not to mention the spilling and scintillating waterfalls that are really spectacular in nature.
Yosemite is really popular and serves as one of the famous camping destinations in California. It offers 13 campgrounds for tourists but due to the immense popularity of this attraction, I would recommend that you should make a reservation in advance. For your knowledge, I would like to inform you that seven out of these thirteen campsites accept reservations for up to at least five months in advance.
Apart from the amazing camping experience, there are lots of other activities to keep the visitors engaged. The park offers a variety of hiking as well as picnic spots and among them, the most famous attractions are the Mariposa Grove and the Glacier point that are very popular amongst the tourists. Apart from these attractive spots, the park is geared up with a National Center, a museum and lots of Information centers that makes it a complete travel destination for all. What does that mean? It means that it not only provides fun-filled activities, but lots of informative knowledge for people of all age groups.
The most popular time to visit the park is during summers. But as the weather in California is known to be fickle, shifting from clear skies to stormy ones in a few hours as well vice versa at any time, so I would recommend that you must travel with all the required necessities like an umbrella or a sun-screen lotion, because you never know when you will need them.
Apart from those famous camping alternatives, the park offers plenty of extrovert activities like rock climbing, hiking, biking bird watching (the activity is very famous amongst the visitors), snow shoeing, stargazing, backpacking, ice-skating and mind you, these are just a few of the activities that are coming to my mind right now... Rest, when you will go there, you will get to know. If you don't want to indulge in any of these outdoor activities, then you can just sit in the park, calm your senses, relax and enjoy the wonderful scenic beauty of the whole atmosphere along with your loved ones.
If you want, you can also avail the services that are provided by the tour operators so that they can let you enjoy your vacation in a more planned way. Many of these outdoor activities include instructors that will provide all kinds of information related to the exotic flora and fauna and different species that frequent the area. |
